Tube Strike Strikes again...

So yes it sucks but you got to make the best of the situation. I believe that it's wasted energy sulking about something beyond your control. Although it can be difficult at times you should feed your energy to do the best with what you have. 


My usual tube journey to work takes around 40 minutes.


Today I made my way to work by skates.
10 miles clocked up each way in just over 60 minutes.

Nipping past the long line of cars was brilliant.

Got a few compliments from cyclists about my speed. One invited me for a race through Victoria Park. I declined knowing my acceleration can be deceiving for my actual sustained top speed, especially against race bikes. Had a nice chat about skates with him instead.


Just glad the weather was on my side today!
