I am Jonathan Chen. I live to eat. Eat to skate. …. and maybe run around a bit too.
This site was setup for a number of reasons.
Sometimes it can be hard to see how well (or bad) you’re doing, being able to look back on yourself is a good way to see progression. This blog will enable me to easily reflect and if there are areas that haven’t been updated for a while it might help prompt me to get back out there.
The phrase ‘Scream at my face,’ came about during some impromptu team psyching at the Survival of the Fittest event. One of the girls, Harriet gave me a scream for the camera mounted on my head and then I got everyone else doing the same.
I decided to just run with this phrase and see what happens.
The site was built in January and officially launched in February 2014. You’ll notice a lot of the posts were prior to this. I decided to backlog a lot of posts as they were significant to the whole progress of the different activities. This was also a chance to share some videos I’ve never shown people. Usually I’d edit everything but this site lets go a little, so not everything is so refined.
ScreamAtMyFace.com this is my escapism.
This site was setup for a number of reasons.
- To chart my new venture with obstacle runs
- To chart my inline skating development in areas of slalom and marathons
- To chart my freeline skating
- To chart any other sporting achievements
- To have a central place where I can keep tips, advice and links for friends instead of frequently re-writing or searching for the information at each request.
