As I've found a bit of free time I'm writing this a couple of days early ahead of the anniversary of ScreamAtMyFace.com. I still have no real idea of how many people are reading these posts but I think a lot of internet bot trawlers for search engines seem to be my biggest fans.... Well, even if I am writing to myself it's been a nice way to log my skate, run, obstacle adventures and I feel proud of all the things I've achieved. One of the areas that's driven this site and interest for the year gone is Obstacle Course Racing. (OCR). I've therefore updated the Guides section on this increasingly popular sport with my personal findings and tips. 2015 is going well so far. With the unfavourable weather I've taken to a lot of indoor skate technique training. Two 5 mile runs have been completed in under 45 minutes. Got loads of butt bruises from snowboarding. Learnt how to ski. Managed to do a rather shaky human flag. Can do a one arm pull up from about a 120 degree arm bend. (Working up to a full dead hang pull up).
In the pipeline I have two skate marathons; one run marathon; plus half a dozen obstacle races. No doubt I'll be adding this list and hopefully convincing lots of people to come along for the ride too!
